Our Educational Programs
Our educational program plays a crucial role in supporting the holistic development of tamariki by fostering their sense of well-being, belonging, and communication. Our curriculum is grounded in the principles of Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s early childhood curriculum. Outdoor Play
Our outdoor environment offers tamariki numerous benefits, such as enhancing both their physical and mental well-being. It encourages active movement, which supports motor skill development and overall fitness. Being outside also fosters creativity and problem-solving as children explore and engage with the natural environment.
Inside Environment
Our inside environment provides tamariki with opportunities to explore, use their creativity, and critical thinking in a caring environment. Activities like building with blocks, role-playing, and engaging with puzzles can enhance their problem-solving skills, fine motor development, and cognitive growth. We love to promote social interaction as tamariki learn to share, cooperate, and communicate with others all while having fun.
Transitions
Transitions are a special part of your child's journey, whether it's moving from home to our Tamariki Ora or between activities. We understand that these moments can be big for little ones, so we take extra care to nurture and guide them with love and patience. By providing consistent routines and a gentle approach, we help tamariki feel secure and supported as they adjust to new experiences. Your child’s well-being is our priority, and we’re here to make each transition as smooth and comforting as possible.
